Madan Karki, dialogue writer of mammoth it ‘Baahubali’, has issued a press statement seeking apology as few words from the movie have hurt the sentiments of a section of Dalits. Tamil Puli organisation members have gone to the extent of hurling petrol bombs at a theatre in Madhurai, showing Baabubali.

” I came to know through media sources that a word present in the dialogue of the movie ‘Bahubali’ hurt the sentiments of a few and that, this has led them to acts of violence. I didn’t know that it was a name of a community. We even have few scenes in the movie in which the hero stand against casteism. Our intention is not to speak ill of anyone. The word will be removed from the movie soon. I’m sorry if anyone has been hurt,” mentioned Madan in his statement.
